John M. Rice

July 9, 1950 – January 2, 2021
Born on 7/9/1950 to John and Susan Rice(Marchio). John went to be with his heavenly father on 1/2/21. He passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side from covid-19. John was a lifelong resident of Forest Lake MN. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local 120 for over 37 years, and retired from Shafer Contracting Co. John loved spending time with his wife and grandchildren, cooking, and talking politics. He will be greatly missed by his wife Lonna, son Shad, stepsons Nathan and Kyle, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grand children. He is also survived and will be missed by his brothers Dick, Pat, Tom (CIndy), Andy (Kim), Lou and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Jean Rainer and brother Tim Rice. John was a long time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Services will be held at the church on Friday 1/22/21 10am visitation – 11am service. 310750 Genesis Ave. Stacy MN, 55079. 651-462-5115. Please wear a mask.
