Donna Marie Gerber (Ross)
December 2, 1929 – January 5, 2021
Donna Marie Gerber, 91, of Eagan passed away Tuesday January 5, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Atlanta, GA on December 2, 1929 to Quentin and Dorothy Ross. She was the oldest of six siblings and learned very early how to care of others. She moved to Minneapolis, MN graduated from North High in 1948. She then married Kenneth Donald Ruegemer August 23, 1952 and they had six children. She loved to sing, took lessons early on and later performed in piano bars as well as hosting for Minneapolis restaurants. In 1971 she remarried Bruce Gerber. She worked at the VA medical center in dietetic service for 16 years. She was a member of Peace Church for over 30 years singing in the choir, serving in the kitchen and fellowshipping in bible study.
Preceded in death by; Kenneth Donald Ruegemer, Bruce Gerber, siblings Dorothy Rose and Mary Jean.
Survived by siblings; Theresa, Barb and Tom, children; Stephen Ruegemer, Michael (Susan) Ruegemer, Barbara (Kevin) Eiynck, Joseph Ruegemer, John (Brenda) Ruegemer, Cathy (Steve) Rosenberger. Fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at Peace Church, Eagan MN on January 30, 2021 at 1pm. A celebration of life and burial at Fort Snelling will be held later this spring.
