Robert Thomas Farrington

August 24, 1952 – January 6, 2021
Age 68, of Cokato, MN Passed away January 6, 2021 of complications of COVID. Bob grew up in West St. Paul and was a 1970 graduate of Brady High School. Bob was preceded in death by his parents James and Lois Farrington, brother Joe and sister Kay. Proud father of sons Brett Farrington (Sharla Dodd) of Seattle, WA and Brian Farrington (LaNae) of Dassel, MN and grandchildren Aya and Ishmael. Survived by siblings Joan Burman (Mel) of San Diego, CA; James Farrington (Helen) of Chaska, MN; and Patrick Farrington (Kim) of Apple Valley; MN, along with 12 nieces and nephews. Bob loved the water, whether it was swimming at the cabin on Pipe Lake, fishing during the annual family trip to Sturgeon Lake, Canada or sitting along the shore of Brian and LaNae’s lake home. In Bob’s younger years he played baseball and softball and turned that love into coaching for many years. Bob always had a smile on his face. He was clever, funny and loving. He is and always will be loved and missed. A celebration of Bob’s life will take place in the summer of 2021. (Published in the Pioneer Press on January 10, 2021)
