Robert Allan “Bob” Loudon

Robert Allan “Bob” Loudon found peace in the afterlife after 83 eventful years of life. His magnanimous personality made an impression on everyone he met. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Loudon; children, Paul (Katie), Natalie, and Robert; and grandchildren, Max and Gigi. Left behind many friends and family, each with countless memories and stories. Born in Minneapolis to Paul and Dorothy Loudon in 1937, Bob grew up with four sisters, Mary, Joan, Bryce, and Dorothy. A strong education at Dartmouth and the University of Minnesota cultivated his noted eloquence and gregarious, silver tongue. Long career marked by service at numerous firms such as Hoerner Waldorf, Menasha, Summit, Oracle Packaging, and STI Plastics. From wilderness canoe trips to local community service in the Hopkins Rotary, Bob respected nature and loved his country as a patriot. A noted wine connoisseur, Bob will be remembered for his love of life and kind generosity. Remembrance party to be held at later date. (Published in the Star Tribune on January 10, 2021)
