Ame Solveig Mossman Wiger (Calverley)

January 2, 1948 – January 2, 2021
Age 73 of St. Paul. Our dear Ame passed away from Covid on her birthday, January 2, 2021. Ame leaves behind her most important treasure, her daughter, Sarah Jeanne Xia Meng Mossman Wiger. Ame accomplished much in life including a law degree from William Mitchell, an endless fight for the poor and disadvantaged and her greatest pride, raising her daughter. As a single mother, Ame instilled Sarah with faith, strong values and resilience. Ame was colorful, from her clothes and hair to her big personality. Ame was a close friend to many, a devoted daughter and primarily, a passionate advocate for her beloved daughter, Sarah. Ame’s laughter, refreshing sense of humor, eternal generous heart and her never ending bowls of rice pudding will be sorely missed. Due to Covid, the Celebration of Ame’s life will be delayed.
