Daniel Robert Jordan

September 4, 1957 – December 24, 2020
Passed peacefully at his home in River Falls, WI on December 24th, 2020, after a 3 year battle with A.L.S. He was 63 years old. Born in Saint Paul, MN September 4th, 1957 to Jacob and Patrica Jordan. Dan was preceded in death by parents, grandparents Edward & Alice Mossong and Jacob & Elizabeth Jordan. Dan graduated Tartan High school. Growing up working on the farm, Dan managed to remain an exemplary student and star athlete throughout high school. He remembered his sports years very fondly, as did anyone who played on or coached any of his teams. He will always be remembered for his work ethic, ability to connect and his unmatched sense of humor, no matter what life threw at him. As the disease progressed, Dan lost his ability to move. Despite this, he remained at work up until 3 weeks before passing. Special thanks to Dan’s high school friends, Faith Jasperson and Tom Uleland were his “hands” at Jordan Seeds, which is what allowed him to work as long as he did AND David Lewis, who was Dan’s “personal driver” once he was unable to drive. Dan never failed to convey his unconditional love for his family. His abundant joy, laughter and love will be missed by all that knew this great man. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Vicki; children Brandon Jordan, Breanna (Ricky) Hampton, Brady Jordan, grandchildren Kali and Kendrick; brother Jacob Jordan, Jr (Joan), sisters Kathy Deschler (Joe), and Nancy Jordan; mother-in-law Patricia Smith; Sister-in-law Lori Bottolfson (Scott), brother-in-law Tim Smith and 5 nephews. The family is planning to host a celebration in the spring of 2021 at Dan’s place of residence.
