David Robert Rosario

August 17, 1956 – December 18, 2020
David Rosario was born on August 17, 1956 in Chicago IL to Anthony and Bernice (Geger) Rosario. Because of his mother’s illness Dave was raised by his aunt and uncle Arthur and Erna Klotz of Parkers Prairie, MN. He passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 64 at his home in New Richmond, Wisconsin. David was confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church and graduated from Parkers Prairie High School in 1974. He married Kim Hendrickson in 1974. He attended Alexandria Tech for carpentry and finished in 1976. They lived in Alexandria, MN and Moorhead, MN before finally moving to New Richmond, Wisconsin in 1992. Dave worked at many different jobs over his life with the last being an independent siding installer. What he loved most was to be at his cabin in Douglas County, Wisconsin. There he enjoyed hunting, ATV riding and being outside. Survivors include his wife Kim (Hendrickson) Rosario, sons James (Jessica Foster) Rosario of Swannanoa, NC and Matthew (Ashley) Rosario of New Richmond, WI and grandchildren Cody Hill and Ramona Foster Rosario. He is also survived by his sister, Mary (Rosario) Cash of Fort Ripley, MN; sister/cousins and brother/cousins Lola (Klotz) Rengstorf of Shenandoah IA; Charley (Carol) Klotz of Hermantown MN; Robert Klotz of Lincoln NE; Willy (Judy) Klotz of Park Rapids MN; Beverly (Keith) Gartner of Cass Lake MN; brother/sisters; Joseph (Barbara) Rosario of Denver CO ; Rose (Steve) Janusz of Glen Ellyn, IL; Randi (Gary) Holm-Bertelsen of Cincinnati, OH; Edward (Georgiana) Rosario of IL; Anthony Rosario of IL and several other step brothers and sisters and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Bernice, father Anthony, mother/aunt Erna Klotz, father/uncle Arthur Klotz and sisters Susan and Sandy.
