Age 76 of Bloomington, died Thursday, Dec. 10th, 2020 at his home surrounded by his wife, JoAnn of 55 years and his two daughters Tina and Amy. David was born Aug. 30, 1944 in Hillman, MN. David was a truck driver by trade both in state and out of state until he fell ill 3 months ago. David was proud to be a truck driver his entire adult life, having a perfect safety record. “Red Ryder” was his over the road trucking handle and “Crusher” was what his co-workers called him at Acme Machine in Minneapolis. Everyone who knew him, loved him. David loved his wife and his family, spending his time with his wife on nature walks and driving looking at the sites. David was preceded in death by his son, Duane Florek and his granddaughter, Kristina Bromley. David is survived by his wife JoAnn, his daughters Tina Bromley, husband Jeff and Amy Strunk, husband James. Also 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. There will be no visitation services.
