Michael Anthony Zacharias

June 2, 1954 – December 6, 2020
Age 66 of Shoreview. Preceded in death by parents, Norman and Mary Zacharias, survived by Patrick Zacharias (Lisa) Joseph Zacharias (Geri) Rose Larson (Virgil) Rita Zacharias ,Teresa Plisek (Jim) Karen Bagan and Thomas Zacharias. Mike loved holidays and family get-togethers. Especially his birthday with his family. Mike liked spending time with his 11 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews. He enjoyed playing legos, coloring and watching movies on tv. He loved his weekly visits from his brother Joe who would bring him cookies, pop and quarters. Weekend visits from Rosie on Sundays, who would bring the Sunday paper especially with the ads, coffee and snacks from the Holiday gas station, and made sure to make a little bag of candy to put in his pocket for later. He also enjoyed visits with his best buddy Megan, who brought coffee, doughnuts and quarters. His youngest brother Tommy would bring his favorite cookies.

Mike had a big heart for people and loved to talk. Mike enjoyed his roommates Deb and Charlie. Mike loved going to work. Especially the van ride to Forest Lake where he and friends would make beaded necklaces and he could spend all his quarters at the vending machine.

Mike will be laid to rest with his Mother and Father at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Mike will be greatly missed by all. Thank to all the wonderful staff at Regions Hospital for the love and care you showed towards Michael and his family.
