Gary Graham Anderson

April 24, 1940 – December 12, 2020
Passed away peacefully on Saturday December 12th, 2020 at the age of 80. Gary was born to Ben and Yvonne Anderson on April 24th, 1940 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He grew up in Pioneer, Iowa and later moved to Northfield, Mn. Where he graduated from Northfield high school in 1958. After graduation Gary attended St. Cloud State and earned a degree in business. After college Gary worked as a store manager and produce manager for a national chain of grocery stores. After working as a manager for the chain stores. He decided to change his career path. He learned to drive a semi-truck and drove for different produce companies in the Twin Cities. Gary also drove school bus part time for Safeway bus company. Gary had a heart of gold. He would do anything to help friends and family. He loved to fish and hunt when he had the time. He enjoyed watching sports and loved to go to his son’s softball games. He also enjoyed watching his daughter downhill ski when she was on the ski team in high school. His love for the outdoors included snowmobiling and he belonged to the Inver Grove Hgts. Snowmobile club. Gary is preceded in death by his parents Ben F. , Frances E. And Anna V. Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife Marrah of 59 years. He is also survived by his children Lorie, Scott (Joni) ; His grandson James ; Great grandson Abel, His sisters Ginny (Gary) Hinzman, Nancy (Dave) Peterson, Becky (Steve) Quinby, Carol (Craig) Dries and his brother Bruce (Wendy) Anderson.
