Michael Paul Mayer (Fiebiger)

Age 64, a resident of Saint Paul, MN passed away peacefully in his home on December 4, 2020, surrounded by his family. Mike was born April 7, 1956 in Waseca, MN to Don and Sue Fiebiger. He was an IBEW 292 Journeyman Electrician. Mike enjoyed spending time with his wife and 2 cats, KitKat and Cadha, outdoor adventures and traveling to different countries. He was a Renaissance man who had many hobbies including painting, wood working, music, science, astronomy and reading. Mike was a talented artist and drummer who approached life with compassion, kindness and forgiveness. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of over 20 years, Tammy, 2 children Dan Fiebiger (Carole) and Andy Fiebiger and 4 siblings Kim Fiebiger, Craig Fiebiger (Lisa), Tracy Brice (Roy) and Rick Fiebiger (Tracy) and several treasured nieces and nephews. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Mike’s honor to Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness. (Published in the Pioneer Press on December 13, 2020)
