Age 61 of Maplewood. Wendy Anderson-Pearson, born May 15th, 1959, in St. Paul, MN, passed away in the arms of her loving husband, Ken, Friday, November 27th. Wendy was the youngest child born to her parents, she was beloved by her five siblings. She married her teenage sweetheart in April of 1977 and together they built many successful businesses. They owned and operated a laundromat, (Clothes Encounters) travel agency, (Sunsational Travel) in St. Paul, and the popular Saints North Family Entertainment Center in Maplewood. Wendy was a living example of God’s love and mercy, and lived her life for the Lord. She was always helping others and was loved by all who knew her. Together, she and her husband supported multiple causes, including mission trips, helping the homeless (and anyone they could), as well as giving to local and International ministries. Wendy was also an organ donor and even in death, she will be helping many people. Hard-working and kind, they loved to share and be with friends and family. As entrepreneurs of service, their businesses brought joy to the hearts of many people with compassion and laughter. She also loved to travel and explored the world. Her favorite destinations included Israel, Cuba, the Panama Canal, and Island cruises. At home, Wendy and Ken could be seen out walking with their dogs every night. Preceded in death by her father, Wallace Anderson, and her mother, Sylvia Anderson-Ranum. Survived by her husband, Kenneth Pearson, and their cherished fur babies Roscoe and Riley; her siblings, Thomas Anderson, (Norma), Sheryl Turner, (Marty), Sandra Smith, (Rev. Michael), Ken Anderson, (Theresa), Steven Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great nephews, and great niece.
