Raymond “Ray” A. Morrisette, Jr.
September 23, 1945 – November 11, 2020
Age 75 of Burnsville, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 after a long fight with Alzheimer’s and then Covid-19. We lost an incredible husband, father, grandfather brother, and friend. He worked in the car sales industry and provided for his family for many years. He loved the horse races, football, baseball, Rocky (Eye of the Tiger) and his family & friends. Survived by his wife and best friend, Nancy; children, Keith (Shana) Morrisette, Scott (Anne) Morrisette, Jason Morrisette, Kelly (Tom) Morrisette/Royer; grandchildren, Rick, Devin, Vincent, Rydelle Morrisette; Jessie and Andrew Morrisette; and Allie, Tucker, and Kinley Royer; sister, Jeanie Mueller; and brother, Richard (Michelle) Morrisette. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Ruby Morrisette. Ray led a life in which family comes first. He would give a person the shirt off his back if they needed it, and was always calm, cool, and collected in any situation. He always knew how to lift people up and was always very supportive. We will have a celebration of life for him when it is safe to gather again. Memorials are preferred to Alzeimer’s Association act.alz.org/goto/… or 800-272-3900. We will never forget the Ray finger shuffle/finger dance. Until we meet again. (Published in the Star Tribune on November 14, 2020)
