Gary Franklin Strenge
February 12, 1947 – November 7, 2020
Age 73 of Blaine, passed peacefully at Camilia Rose Care Center November 7, 2020. Since 2007, Gary has lived with complications that he suffered from a stroke. Gary was born February 12, 1947. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for several years as head of dispatch for ProColor and then moved to managing Earl Brown Bowl and Ham Lake Lanes. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling and was on multiple leagues. He also enjoyed golfing. Gary is preceded in death by his parents John and Valoris Strenge and baby sister Judith. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Kathie, children: Jennifer (Greg) Zimmerman, Carissa (Phillip)Johnson, Garrison (Amber)Strenge. Grandchildren: Jerrin, Katie, Derrik, Easton, Connor, Piper, Carter and Sophie. special pet Gracie and many extended family and friends. We’d like to thank all the care givers that have helped care for Gary over the last 13 years!! We take comfort that he is reunited with his parents, many family and friends that have passed before him and all the fur babies he enjoyed throughout his life. We are not having a service at this time but plan to have a private celebration of life in the Spring at our favorite family camping spot in WI. The time we have is never long enough to spend with those we love.
