Rodney Jene Tenold, Sr.

December 14, 1952 – August 13, 2020
Age 67 of Anoka, passed away at home on August 13th, 2020. He was born on December 14th, 1952 in Maple Grove to Leonard and Ruth Tenold. He was the youngest of four brothers. Early in his adult life he was a truck driver and then became an electrician in 1991. He then went on to start his own business in 1999. He enjoyed spending time with his family, driving on road trips, and helping others. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Lynde. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cherrie; his children, Jeremiah, Nathan (Stacy), & Ronny (Rachel); three granddaughters; his brothers, Roger (Cheryl), Lee (Michele); his sister-in-law, Lynn; and mother-in-law, Esther; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, August 29th at 11 AM at the family’s residence in Nowthen with a luncheon to follow. (Published in the Star Tribune on August 23, 2020)
