Carol Paula Whitcome (Parenteau)
January 11, 1941 – August 22, 2020
Carol Whitcome passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Peace Hospice. After a long battle with Parkinson’s disease she is at peace with her lord and savior.
Carol grew up in White Bear Lake. She attended and graduated from Mankato State University. She became a teacher.
Carol taught elementary school in North St. Paul for 35 years. She cared for all of her students as if they were her own children.
Carol loved the outdoors. She loved fishing, walking in the woods. She enjoyed games and spending time with her family and close friends. She was also a dog lover. Carol was kind, funny, and a friend to all who met her.
Carol loved her family. She is survived by her daughters Alison and her husband Andy Noble, and their three children, Lily, Luke and Christian. Also, Julie and her husband Forest Rees and their two children Caroline and Forest.
Carol wanted all who were involved in her care to know that she appreciated, cherished and loved each and every person. She valued all the time that was spent helping her.
In lieu of flowers Carol’s family requests donations to be made to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul.
