Wendy Lynn Schmidt (Hess)

December 3, 1966 – July 30, 2020
Age 53 of Blaine passed away Thursday, July 30th in her sleep with her family beside her after a long battle with colon cancer which had spread throughout her body. Survived by husband Roger Schmidt, children Colton, Lindsey, Ashlyn and Kylie, parents Donna Grendler (Clare Grendler) Terry Hess (Sue Hess) brother Shane Hess (Jill Schons) and many other relatives and friends. Wendy graduated from Spring Lake Park High School in 1985, received a LPN Nursing Degree from Anoka Ramsey, and worked at Unity Hospital in Registration for 19 years. Wendy loved animals and volunteered hundreds of hours working for different rescue groups, lastly Happy Tails. There will be a Celebration of Life for Wendy in the future when the virus subsides.
