Age 88, lifetime NE Minneapolis resident. Preceded in death by his parents, Verna A. (Krause) and Martin Severt H. Oleson; brother, Martin H. Oleson Jr., and his beloved sister, Karen L. Duncan (Oleson). Red is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy (Dotty) Oleson (Sandberg); son, Gordon (Tammy) Wm. Oleson Jr.; daughters, Krista (Dan Buskovick) Oleson and Wendy (Sean) Oleson-Garey; niece, Melinda Duncan; grandchildren, Jesse, Sean Aaron, Dylan, Lizzie, Kaylee, and Ryan; great-granddaughter, Jacey; many other loved friends, in-laws, nieces, nephews and neighbors. Red was a Foreman at Tempco Manufacturing Co. in Mendota Heights for 35 years. He was an avid bargain shopper, collector, gardener, onion eater and neighborhood watchman. His good nature will live on through all who knew and loved him. Memorial to happen at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Morningside Cemetery in Coon Rapids.
