Age 74 of Brooklyn Park. Preceded in death by parents Antonia Martinez, Albert Contreras and son David. Survived by wife of 54 years, Karen; son Tim (Julie); daughter-in-law Beth (Scott) Bernardson; grandsons Matthew (Gina) and Jacob; four sisters, three brothers, many other relatives and friends. Albert will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 11, 11am at Ascension Catholic Church, 1723 Bryant Ave. N., Mpls., MN 55411. Visitation 1 hour prior.
