Age 38 of Scottsdale, AZ. Devoted wife, loving mother and caring daughter, passed away on July 25, 2020 in her hometown of Savage, MN at the age of 38. Kelli was born on December 8, 1981 in Minneapolis, MN to Jeff Etten and Carol Condon. She graduated from Burnsville High School in 2000, attended American University and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004 with a degree in Political Science. Kelli was a leader in her sorority, Delta Gamma and participated in Humorology where she met her future husband. Kelli reported for WisPolitics and also served as a camp counselor at Streefland in Minnesota. After college, Kelli nannied in France and returned to Minneapolis to welcome the Joy of her life, Zander into the world. Kelli sold Andersen Windows, taught at Lake Harriet Christian Child Care and volunteered at Midwest Challenge where she changed lives. In 2011, she married her college crush, Dr. Rob Beyer, and moved to Pewaukee Lake, WI. Kelli was a Development Coordinator for the American Cancer Society and taught 4-year-old kindergarten at Hartland North Elementary School. In 2018, the family moved to Scottsdale, AZ where Kelli was an active member of Scottsdale Bible Church, was a sponsor in recovery groups and was pursuing her family counseling certification. Kelli loved hiking, boating, reading about and traveling to new places. Her adventures with “Avocado Baby” have become legendary. Kelli was an accomplished artist, writer and “Scrabbler” who enjoyed sharing her many talents. She was Skipton’s “Yorkie Mommie” who had a childlike wonder and a witty sense of humor, especially with the children she taught and mentored. She was a Lilly Pulitzer expert, graduate of Financial Peace University, and passionate about the less fortunate. Kelli was a precious Child of God, Friend of Jesus, Lover of Unicorns and a beacon of Light and Love to all those she met. Kelli is survived by husband: Dr. Robert Beyer; son, Zander Beyer; dog, Skipton; parents, Jeff (Janet) Etten, Carol (Will) Cory; grandparents, Anne Etten, Robert (Lavon) Condon; brothers, Dane Etten, Shane Cory, Brian Cory, Mason Reinhart; uncles and aunts, John (Becky) Etten, Jean (Jerry) Brod, Juanice (Bill) Monpas, Sue Nelson, Mike (Gloria) Condon, Jim Reinhart, Lisa (Chad) Miller; cousins, Doug Hallum, Jeremy (Cynthia) Hallum, Wendy Burkhardt, Amber Monpas, Sara Monpas, Maria (Keith) Paulsen, Terry Nelson, Ashley (Josh) Cutler, Monique Condon, Michael and Livia Miller. Kelli is further survived by her parents-in-law, Fred (Kathy) Beyer; brother-in-law, Rick (Nicole) Beyer; nieces, Alexandria, Marjorie; nephews, Patrick, Nicholas, Vincent; other family-in-law, Steve Beyer, Bill Landwehr, Skip (Karen) Landwehr, John (Maribeth) Landwehr, Stephanie Beyer, Tori Beyer, Nicole (Dan) Turner, Jessica (Joe) Nellis, Jeff (Christina) Landwehr, Tim (Samantha) Landwehr, Jack Landwehr; along with numerous extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by: her grandfather, Arve Etten; and her brother, Cole Hildenbrand. A Celebration of Life for Kelli will be held next summer and a memorial is being established. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support.
