Juanita Yvonne “Chick” Drury (Atchison)

Age 66, passed away and ended her battle with cancer at her daughter’s home in Cottage Grove, MN on 7 Jul 2020. Chick grew up in and attended Johnson High School in the St. Paul, MN metro area. After high school she lived most of her adult life in St. Paul Park and Cottage Grove, MN before settling down in Menomonie, WI. She was a huge Jeff Gordon fan, was fond of snowmen, adored dogs and loved doing crafts especially painting ceramics. Chick was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Juanita Atchison and her infant son, Thomas. She is survived by her sons Donald (Nikki) Drury, Denton (Nicole) Drury and Devlen (Mary) Drury; daughters Trista (Keith) Durant, Tyneia Donald-Drury, Talyse (Ian La Forte) Drury and Taysha (Matt) Johnson; 25 grandchildren and 3 great-grand-children. Chick was cremated and her ashes were spread at the gravesite of her boyfriend Gordon Bauer at Teegarden Cemetery in Knapp, WI and divided amongst her 7 living children.
