RuthAnn Robinson (Parchen)

July 8, 1933 – May 23, 2020
Age 86 of Northeast Minneapolis passed away peacefully May 23rd, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents William and Ruth Parchen and her beloved dogs Trek, Shiloh, Thoreau, Riley and Aristotle. Survived by her brother William (Teresa) Parchen; daughters Ellen Surbrook, Amy (Jeff) Johnson; grandchildren Sara, Benjamin, Genevieve, and Samuel; many other wonderful friends and relatives. RuthAnn graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1956 as a registered nurse and proudly held this career for 35+ years. Her passions included spending time with family, gardening, wolves, German Shepherds, volunteering for the Edison High School Marching Band, and volunteering for the Minneapolis Police K9 Foundation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials to the family preferred and will be donated to organizations meaningful to RuthAnn. (Published in the Star Tribune on May 31, 2020)
