Travis Lee Luoma
August 4, 1972 – April 28, 2020
Age 47 of Blaine. Passed away Tuesday April 28th after a courageous 6 year battle with colon cancer. Travis was born and raised in Duluth prior to moving to Minneapolis area at the age of 18 to work at Applebee’s in Woodbury. Travis worked for the Post Office until unable to work because of his cancer treatments. Preceded by parent: Russell Luoma and his grandparents. Survived by loving mother Barb Luoma, Brothers Chad Luoma and Steven Metcalf and his caregiver Kara Anderson, uncles and aunts,cousins, nephew, nieces, many friends and his two pups Kiko and Gracie. Travis served God through his undying faith, sharing his life and cancer stories and believing in others. Travis loved to fish, play pinball, and collect sports cards, but nothing compared to his love for Kiko and their connection. They spent many hours snuggled in bed thru his treatment and he did not have any problems spoiling her rotten. Memorial service information will be available at a future date. Memorials preferred to Minnesota Colorectal Cancer Research Foundation and animal rescue Ruff Start Rescue.
