Bruce William Holter
March 31, 1926 – April 21, 2020
Bruce, formerly of Eugene, OR, passed away in Roseville, MN at age of 94, taken by the Covid 19 virus. Born in Seattle to Bessie and Elmer Holter, the family moved to Minneapolis where he grew to manhood, served in the U. S. Army in China, and married Ruth Notvik, R.N. He completed studies at the U. of MN and Luther Seminary. Bruce and Ruth embarked on their careers of service to others which took them from the Midwest to the Southwest and Alaska and points in between all the while forming a family of seven girls. Preceded in death by wife, Ruth, daughter, Mary, and grandson, Jamie and granddaughter Tanya. Survived by daughters Margaret Holter of Northfield, Laurel Holter of St Paul, Rebecca Constantinides (Peter) of Toronto, Nancy Holter of Santa Rosa, Audrey Holter of Eugene, and Christine Holter (Kevin Miller) of Eugene, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grand-children.
