Susanne Dolores Kromrey (née Leitschuh)
July 28, 1947 – April 18, 2020
“Sue”, age 72 of New Brighton, was a happy women, looked her best and was always late. She was passionate, loved hard, fought hard. She was strong and bold, but oh so compassionate. Sue was a Charge Nurse in long term care and loved every patient as if they were family. Sue was the oldest of 10 siblings, she loved her 6 Grandkids the best she could, and her 4 kids were her everything. Sue and Tony had 53 amazing years together and were married on New Years Eve in 1966 after a whirlwind romance. They have had ups, downs, and everything in between, but they always stood strong together. Sue had a great laugh and an infectious smile, she loved butterflies, collected owls and angels, the house is covered in them! Sue had a passion for animals, loved planting flowers and working in the garden with Dad, picking raspberries and making homemade jam for over 50yrs. Though she will be missed, she now has a beautiful new set of wings!
