Devera Ann Ward (née Rainville)
October 19, 1939 – April 6, 2020
Devera passed at age 80, Monday, April 6th at Catholic Eldercare in Minneapolis. Devera was born in Minneapolis and graduated from St. Anthony High School. She went to the U of MN to get her associates degree. She worked in banking and then went into furniture sales for many years. Devera met and married the love of her life, William F. Ward and eventually settled in Lakeville. Devera was a dedicated wife of 53 years and her Catholic faith was the core of her world. People remember her as a beautiful, well groomed, well-dressed, immaculate and extremely classy lady. The most important things in her world were her two sons and four grandchildren. Devera is survived by her sons William Ward II (Tracy Bistodeau) and Brian Ward; grandchildren Natasha, Ashley, Cody and Isabella Ward, great grandson Cruz McGuire; siblings Mary Kay Violette (Bud), Toni LaMere (Jerry), Eileen Rainville, Jean Marie Rainville, Noble Rainville (Judelle), John Rainville, Evelyn Rainville and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins that loved her very much.
