Duane Robert “Jake” Raehsler

Age 70 of Ellsworth, WI, passed away on March 26th, 2020 at Preferred Senior Living of Ellsworth. He was born on June 17, 1949, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Joseph and Lillian Raehsler. He grew up in El Paso and attended Spring Valley high school. He married Susan Deiss on October 26th, 1968. He served in the Army from April of 1970 to November of 1971. He retired from Andersen Windows in 2011. Jake was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin. His granddaughter Morgan was “Grandpa’s girl” and was his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Joyce, Arlis, Bill, Ronnie, Roger, Gary, and Tim.

Jake is survived by his wife Susan of 51 years, daughter Nikki (Rande) Steele, granddaughter Morgan and siblings Doug (Dixie) Raehsler and Carol (Chuck) Gregg, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

His great sense of humor will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
