Jerald Kupietz

April 25, 1943 – March 10, 2020
Age 76 of St Paul, MN, a city which he loved, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 10th after a heroic battle with cancer. Jerry, aka Buddy, was loved by his children, grandchildren, siblings, and many other family members and friends. Jerry was a Sergeant in the Army before moving on to become a skilled machinist. He was a handy man who could fix anything. He loved history, driving around with coffee, and telling jokes. In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, there will be no funeral held but we will share a favorite joke in his honor: “What do you call a dog with no legs? It doesn’t mater, it’s not going to come anyway.” (Published in the Star Tribune on March 15, 2020)
