Umbarger, Jack Lee
May 14, 1931 – November 25, 2019
Age 88 of Chisago City. Jack was a native of Newton Iowa where he graduated in 1949. Jack played center for the Newton Cardinals football team which led to a life long interest in football. Jack liked to hunt and was a member of Pheasants Forever. He also loved fishing and golf. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and later St Stephen’s Episcopal Church, both in Newton, Iowa. He was a former Mayor of Lambs Grove and past-President of the Newton Country Club. Jack was preceded in death by his mother and father, Oscar Henry and Gladys Marion (Pett) Umbarger, twin sister and brother Patsy Jess and George H. Umbarger. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Patricia Ann (Alexander) Umbarger, Chisago City, Minnesota; sister Colleen Wyatt, Florida; daughters Christine Ann Hale (Alan) Chisago City and Susan Kay Trotter (Bob), Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren Matthew Todd Faircloth, Lilydale, Minnesota; Brianna Lynn Trotter, Milan, Missouri; Bethany Christine Trotter, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Keith Douglas Hale, Omaha, Nebraska; Daniel Alan and Anastassia Hale, Honolulu, Hawaii and two great grandchildren Dylan Daniel Hale, Honolulu, Hawaii and Kirsten Julianna Walker, Milan, Missouri.
