Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother Ruth Fedors, age 90, went home to the Lord October 22nd 2019. She was predeceased by sisters Pauline and Marie, and brothers George, John, and Raymond; survived by brother Michael. Growing up in Robbinsdale, she attended Sacred Heart middle school, followed by St. Anthony High School in Minneapolis. After graduating she worked as a bookkeeper in several banks and downtown department stores. George Fedors once asked her to dance during a Minnehaha Park event, and they became lifelong folk dancing partners. Married in 1951, Ruth and George proudly raised six children in Nordeast. As the nest emptied, Ruth worked part-time for some local companies, followed by several years volunteering at different neighborhood branches of the Minneapolis Public Library. She enjoyed many friends in the Sundowners Dance Club, continuing until her husband George passed away in 1998. Ruth found great joy with her expanding family of children, spouses, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by Richard (Paula) and sons Matthew (Natalie) and Nathan (Erika), and daughter Kara (fiance’ Thomas); Barbara, who provided live-in care for Ruth; Russell (Susan) and sons Brian and Jeremy; Randall (Eunice) and daughter Alaina and son Reid; Patricia (Kevin) and daughters Kallie (fiance’ James) and Jennifer (fiance’ Andrew); Joseph (fiance’ Jeannette) and his daughter Bailey Grace.
