Berlowe, Burton Forrest

January 16, 1941 – October 28, 2019
Age 78 of Minneapolis. Preceded in death by parents Sue and Herman Berlowe and niece Jennifer Cress. Survived by wife Mary, son Joel (Kathryn), daughter Emily, grandson Adam Doyle, brother Perry Berlowe (Bonnie), sister Sallie Shapiro (Alan), brothers-in-law Joseph Cress (Elaine Peaslee) & Robert Cress (Margina), and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews & friends. Burt graduated from the University of Arizona and worked as a journalist for various newspapers in Arizona and Minnesota. He authored several books about peace and justice issues. Celebration of life from 4-6 pm on December 7 at Open Book in Minneapolis.
