Coons, Dennis Joel

July 12, 1950 – September 7, 2019
Age 69 of Coon Rapids. Denny was preceded in death by his father and mother Joseph and Joyce Coons, sister Cara Meisinger (Coons); nephews, Blaine Meisinger & Kelly Olson. Survived by siblings Carla (Ron) Olson, Corey, Kim, Kayla and Kevin along with many nieces and nephews. Denny was forever grateful to Carla and Ron for welcoming him into their home these past 12 years. He had no children of his own but had extra love for his niece, Jonelyn Iseri, for all the care she gave him during his 7-month battle with cancer. Denny was often a man of few words but had an overabundance of facial expressions that will never be forgotten. Dennis was a veteran, Lance corporal, Marines. A celebration of life will be held on September 21, 2019 at the Coon Rapids, VFW, 1919 Coon Rapids Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433 from 12pm to 4pm.
