Aeikens, Donald Ray

Age 85 of Minneapolis. Passed away peacefully at home September 3, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Ben & Jessie Aeikens; siblings, Beverly, Rodney, Wayne, and Denny (and sister-in-law Melva); and twin sister, Donna. Survived by wife, Peggy; children, Randy, Rick, Jamie & Darren; son-in-law, Mark; grandchildren, Jacob & Nathan; siblings, Kenny (Janice), Shirley, John (Caron), Leona (Denny), JoAnne (Estle), Elaine (Larry), Patty, Jimmy (Diane); and sister-and-brother-in-law, Karen and Jim. Don served in the Navy from 1952 – 1956, and was married to Peggy Robertson on August 30, 1958. He spent his life working hard, loving his wife and his family, helping others whenever an opportunity presented itself, fishing as often as he got the chance, and serving his church and our Lord with his whole heart and sole. He was very loved and will be forever missed. Service to be held on Friday, Sept. 13th at 10:30 am at Life Church, 14100 Valley View Rd. in Eden Prairie MN with visitation Thursday Sept. 12th from 6:30-8:30pm at Evergreen Church, 2300 E. 88th St. Bloomington, MN.
