Ward, William Frederick, Sr.

Age 79 of Lakeville, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice. Born in Kansas City, MO “Bill” graduated from Ray Town High School then served in the United States Navy. Bill eventually moved to Mpls, MN because of his love to fish and met the love of his life, Devera Rainville. Settling in Lakeville, Bill and Devera established their first home. Bill was a real-estate appraiser. He was an amazing provider for his family and devoted to his Catholic faith. He was a dedicated husband of 53 years, people loved him for his charm and humor. Bill enjoyed his friends, family, fishing, hunting, football and adventures up north in the summer with his family. His two sons and four grandchildren were his world. Bill is survived by his wife Devera Ward; sons William Ward II (Tracy Bistodeau) and Brian Ward; grandchildren Natasha Ward, Ashley Ward, Cody Ward and Isabella Ward. brother Michael Ward. Preceded in death by brother, Jerry Ward. The Celebration of Life is taking place on Bill’s 80th birthday Friday, February 1st at Saint Bartholomew of Wayzata, 630 Wayzata Blvd E. Wayzata, MN 55391.
