Heise, Richard Donald

December 16, 1953 – November 20, 2018
Age 64 of Saint Paul. Preceded in death by parents Bill & Evelyn Heise, and step mother Dorothy Heise. Survived by daughters Laura Heise (Steph Moores) Carly Heise (Ross Flatgard), girlfriend Bonnie Abeyta, Brothers Jim Heise (Karen), Bob Heise (Beverly), Step sisters Marion Grogan, Bobbie Tonkin, nephews and nieces. Rich retired from Honeywell (Teamsters Local 1145) after a 40+ year career. In November 2015 Rich suffered a tragic fall which left him quadriplegic. While confined to a non-responsive body, Rich continued to follow his most favored football team, the Vikings, plus a wide range of other sports. He also maintained an awareness of world issues, and politics, and typical of Rich, never hesitated to express his opinion on how things were going. While never coming to terms with his condition he did settle for visits by family and friends, and an endless stream of vintage TV westerns, programs about cars and bar/restaurant management.
