May 30, 1930 – July 7, 2018
Age 88 of White Bear Lake; Albuquerque, NM; Yogyakarta, Indonesia; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Puyo, Equador; and Berlin, Germany, died July 7 from a brain tumor. Survived by children Shawn, Simone and Sonia. Preceded by daughter Suliko and husband John Robinson. Born in Hitler’s Germany, Lilly spent life opposing war, racism and social injustice, and championing immigrants and refugees. She was a special ed. teacher in 3 countries. Past member of Peace Corps, the ARC, U of M Int’l Ctr, Weavers Guild, TC Recorder Soc. An artist and world traveler, she surrounded herself with folk art and was learning new things until the end. Memorial Service at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church, 328 Maple St., Mahtomedi, MN 55115 at 3PM Wed, July 25.
