Marhoun, Alan Joseph
December 12, 1984 – August 4, 2018
Age 33 of Minneapolis. Alan was a free spirit who, in one brief moment, forgot how much he was truly loved. He was a thoughtful, caring man who gave the greatest hugs. He loved the outdoors, art, music and working on cars. Alan was often the life of the party at family gatherings and embraced our silly traditions. He was happiest with his band of pirates at the MN Renaissance Festival and Plunderfest. The thought of his impish grin will always make us smile, and his beautiful blue eyes will sparkle in our minds forever. Pirates everywhere… raise your grog to “Ratchet.” A celebration of Alan’s life will be Thursday, August 16 at 3pm at St Mark’s Lutheran Church, 550 W. 7th St., St. Paul. Potluck dinner/ fellowship will follow the service until 7 pm at the church. Alan is survived by his wife Samantha Gione; parents Michelle Vorlicky and George R Marhoun; brother Shawn Marhoun (Cassie); niece Mia; nephew Zane; grandpas Pete Siedschlag and George D Marhoun; many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
