Kampa, Anthony Joseph

January 23, 1931 – August 6, 2018
Age 87 of Burnsville. Loving Husband and Father passed peacefully at home the morning of Aug. 6, 2018, surrounded by his family: wife, Monique Kampa and their 5 children, Patti (Kirk) Swedberg, Richard (Karla) Kampa, Allan (Karron) Kampa, Robert (Evon) Kampa Cynthia (Alexander O’Neal) Kampa. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marie; sisters, Marie, Anna, Cecilia; grandson, Paul Fisher. Tony is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Kampa and Theresa Storey; brothers, Joseph Kampa and Leonard Kampa; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Tony served in the Marine Corps for 5 years. He served in Korea in one of the worst battles in American history The Chosin Reservoir in 1950 and 1951. A Military Service will be held on August 31, 2018 at 1:00pm at Fort Snelling. The Celebration of Life will follow into the evening at our home, 13705 Shirley Drive, Burnsville, MN 55337.
