Johnson, Fay Ruby (nee Robinson)
July 29, 1919 – May 4, 2018
Age 98 of Saint Paul, passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Preceded in death by husbands, Fran Hueser and Dale Johnson, and beloved cousin and best friend, Joan Smasal. Survived by son, Tom Hueser; daughter, Barbara (Bill) Fairbanks; beloved grandchildren, Bill (Amaya) Fairbanks and Joy Fairbanks; and cherished great-grandchildren, Aidan, Maite, Neva, Mika and Gabriel. Fay was a realtor and in retirement she loved to exercise. She ran on the treadmill a mile a day until she was 93. She also loved to line dance and went on many cruises. Fay will be greatly missed, but we are fortunate to have had her for 98 years. Fay spent the last year of her life at St. Anthony Park Home. While living there they took extraordinary care of her. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in her care. At Fay’s request there will be no services. (Published in the Pioneer Press on May 13, 2018).
