Age 64 of River Falls, Wisconsin, Passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the age of 64 with her loving family & dogs by her side at her home in River Falls, WI. Her husband Shawn, children Chris (wife Jeannie, grandchildren Jori & Hank) & Molly (partner Eric), sister Mona (husband Dave) & all of her extended family & friends are blessed to have been a part of her life. Tina was born in LaRochelle, France to Hank & Elsa Rolfing. Tina graduated from nursing school & began her career at Midway Hospital as an OBGYN nurse. She then worked at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare first as a nurse and then as a research assistant. Working at Gillette was a joy for Tina, as she loved all of her patients dearly & they in return loved her. Tina was incredibly kind, loving & caring of people, animals & the planet. She was giving of her time & her skills. She enjoyed volunteer work in addition to helping her family & friends. She was a passionate gardener & talented at sewing & crafts. Her beautiful smile & striking blue eyes, along with her sharp sense of humor were ever present & she always found a rainbow lining in difficult situations. Celebration of Life for Tina will be held at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in Mahtomedi, MN on Saturday, September 22nd at 1 pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Second Harvest Food Shelf, Animal Humane Society, Red Cross or organization of donor’s choice.(Published in the Pioneer Press on September 2, 2018).
