Age 90 of Richfield. passed away peacefully on December 19, 2017 sur- rounded by his loving family. A proud, third generation son of Norwegian immigrants, Jim grew up on Park Point in Duluth, and enjoyed returning to Lake Superior throughout his life. Jim enlisted in the US Navy during World War II. He attended Winona State College, where he met his wife, Catherine, before graduating from the University of Minnesota.
