Ellringer, Donna Jolene (nee Hall)

April 3, 1957 – December 16, 2017
Age 60 of Prior Lake, formerly of Rochester, Minneapolis and Las Vegas, passed away the morning of Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at St. Frances Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Hall; and niece, Melissa Grandbois. Donna is survived by her husband, Maurice (Moe) Ellringer; son, Joshua Hall of Circle Pines, Minn.; daughter, Daphny Hall of Dubuque, Iowa; grandson, Izaak Hall of Circle Pines; her mother, Virginia Hall of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; sisters, Kimberly Grandbois (Dan) of Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Carrie Hall of Minneapolis; sister-in-law, Diane Ellringer Woodward of Stewartville; brother-in-law, Michael Ellringer of Las Vegas; nieces and nephews, Jessica Stephens (Matthew), Michael Grandbois, Kellie Jo Grandbois, Dominic Burg, Jennifer and Anna; along with Maurice’s nieces and nephews; and the brothers and sisters of her congregation. Donna lived a very full life, traveling with the band, Rush, campaigning with her friend, Barbara Carlson, and even made the cover of the City Pages Magazine as the “Belle of the Block,” standing up against thieves, squatters, drug dealers and trafficking in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis. Donna was a free spirt, a gypsy with a heart of gold, loved the Lord and all that is beautiful, she will be dearly missed. A church ceremony will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at River of Life Community Church at Canterbury Park Chapel at the backside of the racetrack in Shakopee.
