Age 70 of MInnetonka. ¬†husband to Jane (nee Booth), father to Adam (Katherine) of Robbinsdale, Melissa (David Chaffin) of Eau Claire, WI, Scott (Jennifer) of Minnetonka and Neal (Jennifer) of Pittsburgh, PA. Loving “Pops” to William, Nora, Jocelyn, Grace and Charles, passed away at his home Dec. 1. Frank, a retired Senior VP International Sales, earned his Masters in English Literature from West Virginia University in 1971. He left teaching to pursue a sales career, which took him from his native Pittsburgh to the Twin Cities. Frank was active among charitable groups, including The Knights of Columbus and the Salvation Army. After his retirement from Scanlan International in St Paul, he enjoyed volunteering as a teacher of Citizenship and ESL and golfing with his good friends. He loved books, movies and the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he loved his family above all else and was a true “family man.” He is the brother-in-law of Thomas Booth (Edwina) of Sparta, NJ, and Carol Dimond (nee Booth, late Arthur) of Pittsburgh. Uncle to Meghan (Booth) Aughenbaugh (Gregory, Tampa, FL), Patrick Booth (Pittsburgh), Anne Dimond (Jason Molinero, Pittsburgh), Christopher Dimond (New York), Emily Dimond (Pittsburgh), Timothy Dimond (New York), Brian Naccarelli (Cathy, Pittsburgh), and Michael Naccarelli (Pittsburgh). Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsa (Perez), his sister-in-law Marianne (Booth) Naccarelli, and his nephew Daniel Naccarelli. “Non scholae sed vitae discimus (We do not learn for school, but for life).” In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be donated to The Salvation Army, The Jesuit Retreat House, Demontreville, or St Therese School.” (Published in the Star Tribune on December 5, 2017).
