Sukola, Daniel George

Age 55 of Cambridge. Daniel George Sukola was born on October 24, 1961 in Sandstone, Minnesota to Daniel H. and Eleanor (Bader) Sukola. He passed away of natural causes at his home in Cambridge, Minnesota on January 19, 2017. Dan is proceeded by his father Daniel H. Sukola, his brother Kevin Sukola and his niece Becca Sukola. Dan is survived by his mother Eleanor Sukola, his brother Chuck (Connie) Sukola, his sister Gail Keeley, his significant other Kathleen Jesse, his daughter Ellice Sukola, grandson Micah Trueman as well as many family and friends. Dan attended the Cambridge school systems and later attended Anoka Technical College for Auto Body. He worked in the construction field most of his life, and was employed by Kellington Construction. Dan had many interests which included hunting, fishing, and gardening. He took annual trips with his brothers and friends to hunt antelope in Wyoming and deer in Iowa. He was so proud, when he was finally able to take his daughter Ellice bear hunting in northern Minnesota last fall. Dan loved to share his wild game at barbecues with family and friends. Dan enjoyed spending the weekends with Kathleen, his daughter Ellice, soon to be son-in-law Joe and brand new grandson Micah which whom he was extremely proud of. Funeral service Thursday, January 26 at 1:00 P.M., with visitation 1 hour prior, at Salem Lutheran Church, 4638 – 381st Ave. NW, Dalbo, MN 55017. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
