Sharp, Curtis Craig

April 19, 1960 – January 5, 2017
Age 56 of Minneapolis. Beloved son, brother and uncle passed away peacefully on January 5, 2017 at the age of 56 after a long struggle with his health. Preceded in death by his grandparents Ottes and Irene Sharp and Anthony and Edna Schley; uncles Wayne Sharp and John Schley. Survived by his loving dad Curtis D. Sharp (Mary Ann); and mother Carole Sharp; brothers Cary (Shelly), Cole (Cindi), and Christopher (Patti); plus many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He worked for the Hennepin County Court system for a period of years which he enjoyed. “Craig” was born in Virginia, MN on April 19, 1960 and earned his Boy Scout Eagle Merit Badge while attending school in St.Paul, MN, later moving to Ham Lake, MN and graduating from Blaine, MN high school. He was active in many school music and theater events which he continued to do through life. He loved reading, watching old movies, listening to music from past years and enjoying life to the fullest and was extremely creative, using his mind and hands to create things. A celebration of “Craig’s” life will be held at a later date to gather his family and friends for a tribute to his life. (Published in the Star Tribune on Jan. 14, 2016)
