Parisian, Elizabeth Louise (nee Erger)

Age 81 of Maple Grove.died peacefully at home with her husband by her side. Betty was born on January 31, 1936 in Henderson, CO to Peter and Mary (Schroer) Erger. She loved playing sports. Betty played catcher in two World Series softball tournaments. After graduating with a degree in Occupational Therapy, in 1958, she met and married the true love of her life, Jack Parisian on September 26, 1959. They raised their five children in Crystal, MN. She was a loving and devoted mother. She spent over 50 years working in her field. Her career included 20 years running her own chronic pain management business, Healthy Returns. She was a pioneer in alternative therapy. Most of all, Betty loved her husband, Jack. They were side by side always. Betty will be remembered as devoted, committed, tender but tenacious, compassionate, adventurous, strong, athletic, powerful, confident, wise and one that really enjoyed a good pun. Betty is survived by her husband, her five children and their spouses, and 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. Vincent De Paul, Osseo with 10:00 am visitation and 11:00 am service. (Published in the Star Tribune on July 8, 2017).
