Haugen, Ruben Glenn

Age 94 of Burnsville. Noted jazz and symphony orchestra musician and university professor (Univ of MN, St. Olaf College, Univ of St. Thomas, MacPhail Center for Music), executive director of Arrowhead Music Camp (Barnum, MN). Preceded in death by father, Christopher mother, Emma (nee Haagenson), brothers Ken, Bud, Gwynne, and sister Maxine. Survived by wife Marie; children Sharon, Robert (Linda), and Julie (Thomas); stepchildren Mark (Linda), Scott and Todd (Wooldridge); grandchildren Erik, John, Kristina, Jonathan, and Alexander; and many nieces and nephews. Private burial service will be held at Fort Snelling. A public memorial service will be held at the St. Olaf College Chapel in Northfield, MN on Sunday, July 30 at 1:00 pm (visitation), 2:00 pm (Service).
