Buetow, Terry Lee

August 3, 1949 – February 6, 2017
Age 67 of Mound, born on Aug 3, 1950 in New Ulm and passed away Feb 6th, 2017 from an apparent heart attack while exercising on his stair master. He was a young 67 years old. As a 2 year old he contracted polio before the vaccine was developed. He loved sports in his childhood and after high school he went on to graduate from Mankato college, He worked at New Hope Church for the past 25 years. He absolutely loved living on Lake Minnetonka and spent every possible moment making his home beautiful. He enjoyed his pontoon and loved spending time on the lake with his brother Ron. He is survived by his brothers Ron, Mark (+ wife Cindy), Allen and nephews and nieces. His family and our holidays together meant a lot to Terry. He loved exercise, and he was obsessed with his stair master, he would be on it for hours at a time and Al kidded someday he would climb the stair master to heaven. He left doing what he loved. He believed in God and that Jesus was his Lord, we are sure he was greeted with indescribable love of the Lord and his Mom and Dad. In his sudden passing, we remember our time here is so short, there are no guarantees on the number of days we have, so make every day count, be sure to count your blessings and thank the Lord for them. Rest in peace now Terry, we sense you are smiling and heaven is glorious. Memorial service will be held at The New Hope Church on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 5pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. (Published in the Star Tribune on Feb. 11, 2016)
