Stewart, Douglas Edwin

July 27, 1951 – August 3, 2016
Age 65 of Minneapolis. and Duluth, age 65 passed away peacefully on August 3rd. He had long endured many health issues due to exposure to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. Doug is survived by his loving wife Eileen; daughter Sayleen Schmeling (Paul) and their children, Brooke and Blake; his son Raymond Stewart (Tonya) and their children Morgan and Cameron; his sisters Della Ann Bjornstead, Rosalie Herricks and Elaine Elliott. Doug was very active in the Scottish community and various Veteran’s organizations. Memorials to Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 1, P.O. Box 17037, Mpls., MN 55417 or to The Minnesota Scottish Fair and Highland Games in c/o Liz Michalson, 4827 Acorn Ridge Road, Minnetonka, MN 55345. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery Thursday, August 11th at 11:45, second gate, lane 4. Celebration of Doug’s life at Nokomis Square, 5015 35th Ave. S., Mpls, MN 55417 from 2:00-4:00 PM.
