Hozempa, Gene Albert

May 17, 1962 – May 12, 2016
Age 53 of Princeton. Gene was a rough-cut man who enjoyed being a square peg & took pride in his corners. A good friend & jack-of-all-trades, Gene was always ready to use a little elbow grease & some backwoods engineering with other’s cast-offs to create physical blessings for those he loved. A lover of nature, hunter & a Momma’s boy, Gene passed away last week just days shy of his 54th birthday. While Gene’s memory will live on through his four stepchildren and daughter Andi Berryman (Shaun), his mischievousness will live on in the giggles of his 9 grandkids. Gene would ask that you don’t fill his house with more artsy junk or bouquets of girly flowers but that you would live boldly, learn how to shoot a gun properly, & take care of his wife till he sees her again. Celebration of Life service will be held on May 21 the Freshwaters United Methodist Church Brook Campus in Princeton. (Visitation 10am, Service 11am, Lunch 12pm).
